Frequently Asked Questions
There are some differences between installing the two different carpet types. We highly recommend hiring a flooring professional who is familiar with installing wool in order to get the desired result. Speak with your retailer and refer to our wool installation guidelines if you have any questions about the wool installation process.
While it is possible to install carpet yourself, access to the proper equipment and installation resources is critical. The performance and life of your carpet hinge on proper installation and maintenance. Please speak with your retailer or installer about installation ideas or concerns you may have.
Based on the size of the space where your carpet is being installed it is often necessary to join two cuts of carpet, resulting in a seam. Speak to your retailer or installer about the best placement for seams to ensure that they aren't in highly visible spaces or in high traffic areas in your home. Please note - no seaming is allowed for our flatweave wool carpets.
